Combo Vending Product Fit Checklist

Map snack and drink packages to a combo vending layout, test release and collection, and review storage needs before changing the assortment.

Make a sale-unit inventory

List the actual cans, bottles, bags and boxes proposed for the machine. Record complete package dimensions, weight, orientation and any handling or storage requirements. Give each sale unit a reference so the supplier can identify precisely what has been tested.

A total selection count does not describe compatibility. Different packages may require different compartments or delivery arrangements within the offered configuration.

Map each package to its proposed position

Ask the supplier to show the intended position, loading method and collection route for each sample. Record how many positions remain available after the assortment is mapped. Do not infer the final layout from a photograph with different products.

Follow representative samples through consecutive releases agreed for the assessment. Record package condition, unsuccessful delivery and operator intervention, including changes made before a successful retest.

Review storage and site conditions separately

Provide the documented storage needs for the proposed goods and ask what the specific machine can control or monitor. Keep product suitability, machine capability and venue conditions as separate checks. No single generic temperature range establishes suitability for every mixed assortment.

Review customer collection, replenishment access and cleaning responsibilities with the operator. A package fitting in a compartment does not establish a suitable installed customer journey.

Keep assortment changes controlled

Retain the approved sample list, configuration and unresolved cases with the proposal. Identify who checks replacement products when packaging changes and how a new package is tested before loading. Ask for the relevant adjustment and service instructions.

Share the country, package list, photographs you can authorise and proposed venue on WhatsApp. The purchasing decision should refer to the tested assortment rather than a blanket promise that a combo cabinet sells every snack or drink.
