FROM IDEA TO CONFIGURATION

Build the assortment your location needs.

  1. Build the product list
  2. Match trays and cooling zones
  3. Test vending and restocking

01

Build a Combined Snack & Drink Assortment

Build the initial assortment from the snacks and drinks you intend to sell. Record the final packages, the required product conditions and the expected range of selections. A combined machine should be assessed against that assortment rather than described as having a universal channel that suits every item.

Separate products with different handling or storage needs in the list. If the assortment changes during a pilot, retain the original test record and identify which new products require their own compatibility checks before they are loaded.

02

Package Fit, Trays & Delivery Mechanisms

Measure each package and note its rigidity, weight and shape. Use actual samples to compare proposed trays, channels or delivery mechanisms. Include loading, product release and customer collection, with particular attention to products that roll, catch or deform.

Ask for repeated tests and a record of the configuration used for each sample. The fit of one drink bottle does not establish the fit of every bottle or can, and a successful snack test does not eliminate the need to assess a different wrapper or package size.

03

Cooling, Power & Placement

Provide the storage requirements for the products and the environmental conditions of the proposed site. Ask which zones of the actual machine are controlled, the documented operating limits and how temperature-related faults are identified. Do not infer a verified cooling range from a generic category description.

Review power, ventilation clearances and service access using the supplier's model-specific information. If the site conditions differ from those used in the demonstration, record that difference and the further evidence required before selecting the configuration.

04

Cashless Payment & Failed Vend Handling

Define the desired payment methods and identify the operating country and merchant. Ask how the machine records a transaction, detects or reports the corresponding delivery and handles a customer who has paid without receiving the product. Payment and delivery records need to be considered together.

Request a demonstration of successful and unsuccessful cycles with the proposed payment configuration. Clarify which exceptions are handled by the payment provider and which need operator intervention. A card terminal on a cabinet does not prove local settlement or an automatic refund process.

05

Restocking and Service Requirements

Translate the assortment into a practical replenishment plan. Ask for usable capacity by product and selection, then consider stock rotation, visiting frequency and access for the person replenishing the cabinet. Identify how sold-out items and stock discrepancies will be handled.

Clarify cleaning, wear parts, fault reporting and the checks needed after maintenance. The responsibility list should distinguish routine work by the operator from tasks requiring a qualified technician or supplier assistance. A headline capacity or an unattended sales interface does not define the full service workload.

06

Request a Quote with Your Product List

Submit the country, site type, quantity and a written product list with dimensions and storage requirements. Include the purchasing window, replenishment plan and preferred payment arrangement. If the assortment is undecided, identify a representative set of products for the first compatibility review.

Discuss space, utilities and network requirements on WhatsApp. Agree which product samples or photographs are needed for the next review. Ask the final proposal to distinguish equipment, options, packing, freight, installation and support so that comparisons are based on an equivalent, verified scope.
