Site Preparation & Installation Responsibilities

Record the proposed machine location, delivery route, doorways, changes in level and space for positioning equipment. Include customer access, collection space and the clearance needed for replenishment and service panels.

Use drawings for the actual model being considered. A nominal cabinet footprint does not account for every operating or maintenance requirement, and a layout that works in one location should not be assumed to suit another.

Wet-area projects need an assessment of the relevant water, drainage and cleaning arrangements. Refrigerated equipment needs review of its documented environmental and ventilation conditions. Heated preparation introduces a different set of site and operating questions. Dry-product vending should be assessed on its own requirements.

Do not apply one installation value across all categories. Ask the proposed supplier for model-specific electrical, utility and environmental documentation and identify the qualified local parties responsible for reviewing it.

List who provides site works, connections, positioning, fixing, commissioning and operator instruction. Distinguish the equipment supplier's scope from property management, local contractors and the site's operating team.

Record the dependencies and access arrangements before agreeing a delivery sequence. Remote support should not be assumed to include local labour or permission to alter a building. Unresolved site questions should remain visible in the proposal.

Identify the documents and observations needed to confirm that the agreed installation scope is complete. Include equipment identity, configuration, user sequence, routine maintenance access and the process for reporting outstanding items.
