Laundry Vending Payment Compatibility

An independent vending payment arrangement and a connection to a laundromat’s membership or balance system need separate reviews. Describe which journey the customer should follow and identify the owner of the existing payment accounts and software. A familiar card or payment logo does not establish a shared balance.

Ask the equipment supplier to name the offered controller, terminal, software and interface rather than confirming compatibility only at brand level.

Record the country, currency, provider and account arrangement for the proposed combination. Ask the existing laundry-system provider and equipment supplier to confirm their respective scope, dependencies and support responsibilities. Keep dated responses and unresolved requirements with the project record.

Clarify who controls credentials and future changes. A technical interface description does not by itself confirm account eligibility or authorisation to connect a particular live installation.

Use the agreed test arrangement to follow selection, payment, package release and the resulting records. Distinguish payment acceptance from completed product collection. Agree how declined payments, failed releases and unresolved transactions are recorded and who can investigate them.

For a proposed shared balance, explicitly test the expected debit and any supported reversal with both parties. Do not infer refund behaviour from a successful purchase or promise a provider-dependent processing time.

Use the payment integration matrix to record expected results, observations, evidence, reviewer and open actions. Identify what must be reassessed after a terminal, account, firmware or laundry-system change. Confirm who supports the vending machine while an integration issue is unresolved.

Share the country, existing system, intended payment journey and packaged products on WhatsApp. Any compatibility conclusion should apply only to the combination demonstrated and documented for that project.
